Sustik Kriszta

The SustiKKrisztA brand was born in 2012, its main characteristics are instinct and experimentation. The collections are not made at the usual pace, they do not follow current trends: the clothes are often inspired and shaped by the feelings of the moment. The designer does not conform to expectations, but listens to his instincts and intuitions - he has a lot of ideas swirling around in his head, which are refined during experimentation and reach their final form. Kriszta also lived in Vienna for a few years, where she designed and produced wedding dresses and rhythmic gymnastics leotards. Even then, she mixed elegance and sporty lines in her dresses, in her edgy corsets, and in her skirts made of elastic tulle, the fall of which was beautiful, but the addition of colorful elastics made them sporty. This line has remained, even today he likes to combine these two influences. His pieces reflect the designer's vision and personality, as one of his favorite genres is science fiction. He really likes to use impregnated materials - often in combination with a cotton inner part - from which most of the time pieces with a futuristic effect are created, edginess mixed with elegance. The specially shaped hoods, pockets, and water-repellent materials in their overall effect all symbolize a kind of protection that may play an important role in the future. The designer likes challenges and is inspired when he can work together with artists and musicians who have a similar vision. He loves to design costumes, he has already made performance clothes for Anna and the Barbies, Noémo, The Biebers, Anez and other bands. The designer has already participated in various creative projects, for example for the Thyssenkrupp company in cooperation with the Morpho company, in connection with which they won the Mediadesign gold medal in 2015 and the Prizma Kreatív Pr bronze medal in 2016. For Kriszta Sustik, the process of creation, self-realization, new challenges and freedom are very important, she wants to try herself in many different fields. He wants to create without limits and expectations, in a way that feels meaningful.
